The Rite

for the tips and traps of poetry

The Rite is a 5-month intensive workshop that  runs from November through March where we share with you the rituals of poeticizing, the antics and tactics of editing and the tricks of publishing.

During the workshop, participants would learn what editors look out for in a work, how to organize your works for submission, and other backdoor know-how for publishing your writing in literary journals; how you can by yourself edit your work and make it sharper, stronger and stranger.

By the end of the workshop, participants would have a new or their first chapbook; which shall be reviewed by established poets.

Our mission at The Rite is to provide quality poetry tips using simplistic approach that helps you achieve your goal of joining us. Before the end of the Workshop, you would begin applying your new skills even after few sessions.
